My Hero Academia’s All Might Unbuffed

Recently it was announced that the earlier canceled My Hero Academia stage play in Japan is back on and will debut July 17 and run throughout July 26, which is great news for all involved including the fans of the series.

As I was sitting reading an article about this play, it dawned on me that All Might is one of the most interesting and complex characters in the series. Firstly, because he is one of the oldest superheroes who was not born with his superpower abilities but trained to gain them, and secondly, as fans of My Hero Academia know that after using extreme amounts of his power All Might will then revert to his non-hero form of Toshinori Yagi.

So now that I have firmly implanted of the Toshinori Yagi a.k.a. All Might firmly in your mind here is my question.

Who will play the scarred, skinny-sharp angled and often cranky

Toshinori Yagi?

The thought that came to my mind was that the character would transform into his true self with the use of smoke and a breakaway costume. However, this seemed too time-consuming, too costly for each scene, and what if the costume failed to break when needed.

I was very relieved to learn that two actors play the All Might/ Toshinori Yagi part. Well, the answer is this All Might true form will be played by actor Tsuyoshi Hayashi. While All Might in his muscular form will be played by actor Hiroaki Iwanaga.
